Who is eSteps?
The whole answer, in the questions people actually ask us.
What do you make?
A smart insole that records how you walk during ordinary life, an app that shows you the record and runs the standard walk tests, a dashboard where clinicians read mobility trends between visits, and the analysis that connects the three.
Where did it start?
In a biomechanics laboratory at the University of Bologna, measuring walking with force plates and cameras. The research became a company in 2020, and the company moved its base to Boston in 2022. The research and engineering stayed in Italy.
Who runs it?
Nidhal Louhichi, the biomedical engineer whose research started it. He is the CEO.
Where are you?
Boston, Milan and Tunisia.
How do we reach you?
hello@estepshealth.com, or the contact form, which reaches the same people. Clinicians: say so, and we will show you the dashboard.
